The drum chart for the tune Music Lawyers is a 4 bar basic rock rhythm that uses 8th notes on the hi-hats and a simple drum beat between the bass drum and snare drum.

Note the drum chart shows a 4 bar rock pattern. This is the drum beat being played on the backing track. After every 3 rounds of the progression the drums, guitar and bass all sync up to the 1st bar shown on the drum chart.

It was an error I made when recording the track but it still work - so sue me!

Add some syncopated notes on the snare drum to spice up the drum beat. Playing on the ride cymbal will also give the track a different sound.

You could also change from playing 8th notes on the hi-hats to 16th note pattern on the hi-hats.

Make sure you play with solid time on the tune, don't rush the beat.
