Music Videos 01
The music videos pages contain YouTube music videos that have appeared on the front and other pages of free jam tracks and have since been updated with something new. They were just being replaced but people keep emailing us asking things like 'what video was on the front page three weeks ago?'. Well we can never seem to remember what music clips we've posted. So these pages serve as a replacement for our memory loss! This is simply an archive of all the great music clips we put on the site. The videos we post are music clips, instruction and examples from musicians playing music we love. We don't just go find any old clip to throw up on the site. If you are a regular visitor to the free jam tracks site you'll know that our aim is to only put up the best quality content that we can. This goes for the videos we post as well. By popular demand, here are the videos that have featured on the free jam tracks home page and appeared on other pages on the website.
Jimi Hendrix - Hear My Train A Comin' (Acoustic)This is a great version of Hear My Train. Jimi playing a 12 string acoustic guitar. He starts the song at the 50 second mark. Jimi was such at natural player, he always made playing look effortless. Not only was he a natural, he worked extremely hard for many years before he became the guitar hero that we all came to know and love. The first time I saw this footage was on the 25th anniversary of Jimi's death. My local cinema made a big day out of it and put on Hendrix at Woodstock with a documentary to open it which had this clip. The coolest thing was, when it got to the Woodstock film, the cinema cranked the speakers so loud it was like you were actually a gig! It was huge. I'd never seen much concert footage at all before that, it was almost like I was seeing him live. If you haven't seen Hendrix at Woodstock you should get a copy and make sure you watch it all from start to finish. The solo he does at the end of it would have to be one of the greatest pieces of improvised music ever performed. It is totally mind blowing.
Friend of FJT playing Randy Rhoads "Dee"Free jam tracks jammer Victor sent in this clip of him playing Dee. Great job Victor. Awesome camera angle. The only suggestion I have to make is, if you are going to film yourself for YouTube you really should brush your hair. |
